Fjord Defence took part in REBS Gathering 2026, held in Tønsberg, Norway, from 22–24 September. The event brought together end users, operators and industry partners for hands-on demonstrations, equipment showcases and discussions focused on maritime and special operations.

During the event, we showcased a selection of Fjord Defence weapon mounting systems and demonstrated our equipment in a realistic maritime environment.

Our HMG Swing Arm was installed onboard a VIKING Norsafe boat together with our HMG Mount and Green Ammo’s E-Blanks system. This setup allowed users to experience the complete weapon station while operating from a moving vessel.

The HMG Swing Arm provides a compact and flexible solution for weapon stations where deck space is limited, allowing the complete mount to be positioned outboard during operation and swung inboard when additional clearance is required.

Combined with Green Ammo’s electronic blank system, which simulates weapon recoil, sound and muzzle flash without conventional blank ammunition, participants were able to test the setup dynamically from the boat.

REBS Gathering provided a valuable opportunity to demonstrate our systems in a relevant operational environment and to receive direct feedback from experienced users.

We would like to thank REBS, VIKING Norsafe, Green Ammo and everyone who took part in the demonstrations.
