The Fjord Defence HMG Mount is designed to provide a stable platform for accurate firing of all M2 12.7 mm variants. The system allows seamless integration across vehicles, marine vessels, or dismounted tripod configurations, offering flexibility across multiple operational scenarios.
An integrated recoil mitigation system reduces peak forces acting on the platform, ensuring consistent high hit probability. The elevation axis and recoil damping system are aligned with the bore to maximize stability and accuracy. A shoulder support arm further enhances controllability and firing precision.
The mount provides an elevation range of +60° and depression down to -30°, with an adjustable depression limiter featuring 1° resolution. It utilizes a STANREC 4796 pintle interface and is prepared for both right- and left-side ammunition feed.
Brass and link collector bags prevent spent casings and links from entering unwanted areas such as vehicle hatches or deck surfaces, improving safety and cleanliness during operation.
The system supports a wide range of accessories, including optical sight brackets, trigger systems, tri-rail brackets for lights and lasers, brass and link catcher, shoulder support, ammo box cover, and transport box.
Built with a robust design for durability in harsh environments, all surfaces are treated according to military standards for corrosion protection.
