The Fjord Defence MMG Mount is designed to provide a lightweight and stable platform for accurate firing of light and medium machine guns, including MAG58/M240 and Minimi/M249. The system is suitable for tripod, vehicle, pedestal, and RHIB/boat installations, offering flexibility across multiple operational environments.
The integrated recoil mitigation system, built into the pintle interface, reduces peak forces acting on the platform, ensuring consistent high hit probability. The mount provides an elevation range of +50° and depression down to -40°, enabling precise targeting across a wide range of scenarios. It features an interface for Traverse & Elevation (T&E) mechanisms and transport lock, and is equipped with a NATO STANREC 4796 pintle for seamless integration.
The mount can be used in combination with a lightweight tripod solution, providing a stable and portable firing platform when required.
