The Fjord Defence DUAL MOUNT M2/GMG is designed to provide a stable platform for accurate firing of the M2 12.7 mm heavy machine gun and GMG 40 mm automatic grenade launcher. The system allows seamless switching between weapon platforms without the need for tools, enabling rapid reconfiguration in the field. It can be installed on vehicles, marine vessels, or used dismounted on a tripod.
An integrated recoil mitigation system reduces peak forces acting on the platform, ensuring consistent high hit probability. The elevation axis and recoil damping system are aligned with the bore to maximize stability and accuracy. A shoulder support further enhances controllability and firing precision.
The mount is compatible with both H&K GMG and M2 HMG, providing flexible weapon integration across multiple operational scenarios.
