The Fjord Defence Dual Mount M2/MK19 is designed to provide a stable platform for accurate firing of the M2 12.7 mm heavy machine gun and MK19 40 mm automatic grenade launcher. The system allows seamless switching between weapon platforms without the need for tools, enabling rapid reconfiguration in the field. It can be installed on vehicles, marine vessels, or used dismounted on a tripod.
An integrated recoil mitigation system reduces peak forces acting on the platform, ensuring consistent high hit probability. The elevation axis and recoil damping system are aligned with the bore to maximize stability and accuracy. A shoulder support arm further enhances controllability and firing precision.
The mount is compatible with both M2 HMG and MK19, providing flexible integration across multiple operational scenarios. Its robust stainless steel construction ensures durability in harsh environments, while all surfaces are treated according to military standards for corrosion protection.
The system supports a range of accessories, including optical sight brackets (standard and ballistic compensation), trigger systems, tri-rail brackets, airburst programming brackets, link & brass catcher, ammo box cover, and transport box.
