The Fjord Defence Mobility Weapon Carrier is designed to provide a flexible and mobile platform for heavy weapon systems, including HMG, AGL, and combined HMG/GMG-MK19 mounts.
The system is equipped with a Fjord Defence pintle interface in accordance with STANREC 4796 (G3 cone) and is fully compatible with the Fjord Defence transport lock system, ensuring secure weapon handling during movement and transport. It can be configured for multiple deployment methods, including mounting on a sled for snowmobile towing or integration on truck beds and 6×6 UTV platforms, enabling high mobility across varied terrain.An adjustable height range from 345 to 640 mm allows optimal operator positioning and adaptability to different platforms and operational needs.The carrier is equipped with four M2A1 ammo box holders and a dedicated HMG barrel box, ensuring efficient ammunition management and sustained operation in the field.
Constructed from aluminium and stainless steel (316), the system combines low weight with high durability, weighing just under 54 kg.
