The Fjord Defence Skate Mount is designed to provide a stable platform for safe and accurate firing of light and medium caliber machine guns. The system enables up to full 360° azimuth coverage, ensuring maximum field of fire and operational flexibility.
Built with a modular architecture, the Skate Mount is compatible with Fjord Defence weapon mounts as well as other standard systems. The integrated pintle interface complies with NATO STANREC 4796 (G3 cone), allowing for flexible and rapid integration across multiple platforms. The system is available in various diameter options and configurations, including full 360° rotation or customized traverse ranges, eliminating the need for a rotating hatch.
Designed for mobility and ease of integration, the lightweight yet robust construction enables straightforward installation with minimal modifications, reducing overall system costs. The system is highly customizable and can be tailored to specific customer requirements and mounting constraints.
Manufactured for durability in demanding environments, the Skatemount is built in accordance with MIL-STD-810G and STANAG 2895 standards. Fjord Defence offers a range of configurations currently in serial production and deployed across multiple operational platforms.
